Strategic coaching for women navigating demanding legal careers

Many women I speak with say some version of the same thing:

“I’m not my best at work, and I’m definitely not my best at home.”

Long hours. Constant responsiveness. Very high stakes.

At the same time, you’re carrying the mental load of work, family logistics, and long-term career decisions — often all at once.

The result can feel like a constant set of tradeoffs.

Like golden handcuffs — and the sense that if you step back even slightly, the consequences will be real.

Or the quieter version: doing a lot, but never feeling fully on top of any of it.

A while back, I was at an event with a group of incredible women, including a few attorneys.

When they found out what I do, one of them laughed and asked:

“Can you fix me?”

Then another asked the same thing.

But they weren’t broken — and neither are you.

They were describing the experience of operating inside a system that demands constant responsiveness, long hours, and very high stakes.

Private coaching creates a confidential place to think clearly, make difficult decisions, and build a career that is both ambitious and sustainable.

Common themes include:

• the constant tradeoffs between career momentum, family logistics, and long-term options
• carrying the mental load of work demands and home life simultaneously
• wanting meaningful, interesting work without everything feeling urgent all the time
• not having space to think clearly about the right long-term call
• wanting to feel on top of things instead of barely keeping up
• wanting success without feeling stretched thin all the time

This work isn’t about stepping away from ambition. It’s about creating a way to pursue it that actually works.

How this works

This is a six-month private coaching engagement designed to provide both structured support and real-time guidance.

Biweekly coaching sessions

Two 50-minute sessions per month
(12 sessions total)

This biweekly cadence creates consistent space to step back, think clearly, make strategic decisions about your career and life, and practice prioritizing your own needs with the same consistency you show up for others.

Monthly flex call

Each month, you also have one 30-minute flex call for something time-sensitive — preparing for a difficult conversation, navigating a decision, or recalibrating when something unexpected arises. Pop this on the calendar as needed.

Direct Voxer coaching

Between sessions, you have direct access to me via Voxer for ongoing, real-time support.

You can use Voxer to think out loud between sessions — sharing what’s unfolding in real time, asking quick questions, processing a situation before it escalates, or sharing thoughts for a future coaching session so we can hit the ground running.

Confidentiality

All conversations — in sessions and on Voxer — are held in a strictly confidential coaching container.

Investment

$9,500 for the six-month engagement

A statement of work can be provided if your firm offers professional development reimbursement.

A small number of clients are accepted at a time to keep the work thoughtful and responsive.

Next step

If this sounds like the right kind of support, apply for a private consultation.

This brief application helps ensure the work is a strong fit before we schedule time to talk, because I know your time is precious.
