A Fresca-fueled poolside revelation

This summer, a friend sent me a recommendation for a personal development podcast. Then I got another. Then a different friend sent a book I had to read. Always with quick notes: "This is so up your alley" and "This made me think of you immediately."

But with every well-meaning rec, I felt more frustrated.

This is exactly the work I do. And I think I do it better. I just haven't been talking about it like that.

It really bugged me because I’ve been wanting to talk about my my work “like that” for years. Simplified. Distilled. Clear. I just had trouble wrangling the complexity without losing depth.

The good news is, I’m nothing if not stubborn. So on a Friday night in July, sitting by the pool with a Fresca, watching my daughters play with their friends on float night, I pulled out a scrap of paper and started doodling about how I help women get what they want and feel how they want to feel.

Floaties, Fresca, + framework = fab Friday night

All the behind-the-scenes work I’ve been doing paid off. It took a whopping 8 minutes to sketch out the first draft of the ::drum roll:: Get More Everything™ Framework.

I’m polishing it up so I can share it (and, if all goes well, my revamped website!) with you next week. Today, I want to share a taste of the behind the scenes work that got me here.

Here are the four questions I’ve been reflecting on, including my straight-from-my-journal answers.

What's my biggest dream for myself? A global business centered on guiding women to create lives so overflowing with abundance that it can't help but spill into their families, their communities, and the world at large. All while being deeply present with my daughters for these precious years while they're still home, and nurturing my health, marriage, and friendships.

What's my biggest dream for the planet? One where people wake up to the lie of scarcity. Where it feels safe to share in abundance — giving and receiving in equal measure. Where people get to live honest and true lives.

(I've found that the women who are ready to Get More Everything almost always have an answer to this question — and it's usually connected to their personal dream in ways they haven't fully articulated yet.)

Where am I right now? The dream has crystallized. The groundwork has been laid. The framework exists.

What's the delta? Now I need to fully embody this on a much bigger scale — more speaking, more writing, more visibility — and take even more women like you through the Get More Everything Framework so you can start experiencing this richness today, not someday.

Now I want you to answer the same four questions for yourself. Pull out your journal and dig in:

  1. What's your biggest dream for yourself?

  2. What's your biggest dream for the planet?

  3. Where are you right now, honestly?

  4. And what's the delta?

And if you want to share your answers, you know I love to see the inside scoop.
